CHAMBER CHOIR

 

Description:

Select vocal ensemble, open to both talented male and female vocalists with intermediate and advanced choral singing experiences. This is an accredited class wh ere attendance is taken and students are accountable for all absences. Performances and participation are major portions of the grading criteria.

 

Prequisite: Audition

Open to vocalists who have had at least 2 years of choral experience and have been in concert choir for one year.

This advanced ensemble is intended for advanced vocalists of any age.

 

Who is in Chamber Choir?

Usually students in grades 10-12 with a few freshmen who have passed the stringent audition.

 

What happens in Chamber Choir?

Memorization and advanced musicianship are emphasized components.

 

What's the best part?

Usually a smaller class with more music memorization.

More flexibility is given for sectionals and small group rehearsals.
